  • What will happen to my Georgia driver’s license if I plead guilty on my 2nd DUI offense? If this is your second DUI within 5 years, you will lose your Georgia driver’s license for 3 years, and you are not eligible for any permit for at least 1 year.


  • Is there any way to get my license back after my 2nd offense? After a 1 year suspension, you may get a limited permit for 6 months with an interlock ignition device on your car. After 18 months, you may be eligible to get your full license back, but you must first complete an alcohol evaluation, treatment if recommended, DUI school, and pay the reinstatement fee.


  • What will happen to my Georgia driver’s license if I plead guilty on my 3rd offense? If this is your third DUI within 5 years, you will lose your Georgia driver’s license for 5 years, and you cannot get a limited permit for at least 2 years.
